I got three pairs of these for myself, my mom, and my best friend to use during our trip to Scotland. We got the white ones and the photos give the illusion that they're see-through and ours weren't at all- so white was good because they almost looked like normal sneakers. We each wore them for pretty much an entire day and 2/3 held up really well. My friend said she thought hers ripped in a few spots because her shoes were wet at the end of the day, but overall they did what she needed them to and that was get us through a wet day in Edinburgh. They can be a little slippery depending on where you're walking so take that into consideration. They're also a bit of a challenge to get on, so I'd recommend working them on like a stocking/nylons.They were only like $8 so definitely worth the price, especially since I was able to dry them out and I'll use them at least one more time.
